Yo, I’ll tell you what I want, what I really, really want
So tell me what you want, what you really, really want
I’ll tell you what I want, what I really, really want
Spice Girls-Wannabe
I have always wanted to be an artist when I grew up. What about you?
After painting 30 paintings, I realize that it isn’t so much about being an artist, but enjoying the experience. When things are moving smoothly in the studio it’s as if I am in synchronized motion, one with the universe, creating a dance with the brushes.
“What do you really really want?”, is a great question to ask yourself daily, inorder for you to get in to the grips and depth of the true meaning of the answer. Do you believe people really want what they initially believe is going to make them happy? Is it fleeting? Does it have meaning? Will you take this challenge with me? In 30 days I will let you know what I discover. Let’s do it together. Ask this question for 30 days and right down what you want in 140 characters or less, then see if you have a pattern and can come up with the real answer to this question. We have a date August 30, 2012.
This is my 30th painting of my #paint52 challenge, 24” X 24”, Atelier Interactive Acrylic and Oil, Price $1440. Thank you so much for following my challenge and leaving comments.

A Martin Acoustic Guitar :O)
Good luck with this challenge Janet, I think it’s a wonderful idea and I will do my best to join in as often as I can. I certainly will be keen to see how you go, will check back regularly with coffee in hand.
You are a writer and a great one. Hope you take the challenge Cheryl.
And you will probably get one too Shannon 😉
Hope I see you in 30 days with your answer Chris, thank you!
I love your painting! Fabulous color and feel.
I’ve had The Tubes song “What Do You Want From Life” stuck in my head ever since I read your post. So up for the challenge. When I was a kid I wanted to be a pilot and a rock star….
I think the only thing you have to work on is a pilot, now where can we get a plane. You know Shannon, I think it all boils down to being happy, fulfilled and at peace.
I read this post when first here, and have been musing on the question since … very interesting and the real answer is probably not the first … will try to write my thoughts down – still have 15 days to go, so will start now, Thanks!
I’m still on that journey as well Ruth, can’t wait to see your thoughts.
