Melodies, melodic notes
No one needs to know the depth in which I feel you
Privacy for you and me alone
Carry me away on tips of eagle wings my love
Not close to the sun
But bring me to the stars
So I may see the stars in me and others
I speak with simplicity
To explain the most complicated measure of all.
Gorgeous Janet!!! Love the poem too.
The poem, the painting. They are really one. Don’t separate them. They truly are exceptional. Thanks for sharing the soul of you.
wonderful Janet! sublime.
Thank you Kushlani, Jackie and Tobin, I really appreciate your comments. The painting was inspired by a friend of mine whose son died in Iraq. As she was explaining her love for her son, I felt her passion so deeply, I then painted this painting. I think it my carry her energy.
Love is truly the greatest gift of all & the depth of our love for others reflects our love for ourselves. It’s a beautiful poem & I really like the way you used light in the painting, you are truly a talented artist. Thanks for being apart of my life.
Bill
P.S.: Usually the simplest way is the best way!!
Janet,
This is yet another beautiful piece, the combination of imagery found in your painting and in your words. I can imagine your friend will be very touched that her sharing with you her memories of her son has given rise to such beauty.
Tanveer.
Thank you Bill and Tanveer, for your lovely comments, always so sincere and kind.
WOW!I agree. They should not be separated. Profoundly beautiful Janet.WOW!
I so appreciate your opinion Shannon, thank you for responding to my blog, means a lot to me Hugs.
Jot the poem on the back of the canvas – then the beautiful painting will live with the words forever.
Sharon, what a wonderful idea. I did that once with a painting for a friend of mine. It was about his father who passed away. His father would always sing this special song and I attached the song to the back of the painting. Thank you!
