Let me out says the muse
Let me out
No more laundry
No more going to the grocery store
No more cleaning the floors
No more emails
No more Social Media
No more I like this one better
No more painting for money
No more believing in others and not yourself
Let me out
I am smothered by what I should, I could and I would do
Give me air says the muse
Give me dragonflies
Give me stardust and crimson tides
Give me wanderlust and adventures abroad
Give me a chance to touch the skies.

Love Love Love! I’m glad you said ‘out’ instead of in. I tend to get that confused 🙂

Great post! Like the poem, like the painting! 😀
It’s great seeing all your paintings side by side, your colors are magnificent!!!
Thanks Christine that thrills me that you love the colors and thanks so much for leaving a comment.
Thanks Christine, glad you like both. I couldn’t shut up the muse today 😉
Me too Chrissy, but I guess we need to receive the muse to let it express itself. Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment. 🙂
Beautiful post in every way Janet. 🙂

🙂 Thanks Bill!
Wow Janet! Love this and it sooo resonated with me. Brilliant colors!
Hi Deb, thanks for visiting. I am glad you liked my play painting. Sometimes an artist has to let the muse out and let it play. Thank you so much!
This is also every artist dream….removed obstacles and pressures in order to paint freely. I like your work and your exhibit looked good.
Thank you Phyllis, very nice of you.
