I had taken one of my pastel drawings and pushed it further by taking the image and dropping it into the ArtRage application for the iPad. I was able to add spots of oil, watercolor, pencil, crayon and soften edges with the pallet knife. I feel it gave the image more unity. This is another great way to play with the original without ruining it. There always is a point when you have done too much with the drawing or painting, the “Point of no Return”. Using the iPad in this way allows you to play without intimidation and be able to save the image in its original form. Who would ever think that mixed media would include tech with classical?

I absolutely love what you’re creating with the iPad. It gives mixed media a new meaning.

UHHH you’re not helping my IPAD envy:)
Thank you Sarah and Cheryl, I really appreciate your comments.
Wow, opens up a whole world of options.
Yes,it sure does Chris! Something new everyday
Mixed media has a kind of magic all it’s own, but it still takes an artist’s soul to bring it to life. Love your work!
So nice of you, thank you Lynda.
Wow! Really neat Janet and of course it takes a special vision to pull it off so well!
I guess the vision is the hardest part, right.
